Aurel Stroe

Aurel Stroe (1932-2008) was a prominent Romanian composer and musicologist, known for his significant contributions to contemporary classical music. His work primarily falls within the avant-garde and modern classical genres, characterized by innovative use of rhythm, harmony, and form. Stroe studied at the Bucharest Conservatory and later in Paris, where he was influenced by the European avant-garde movements.
